Positive Health Program
Supporting Indigenous people living with HIV, Positive Health is a goal driven program rooted in a holistic model of care. Outreach workers first assist and support individuals with stabilization and then focus on an action plan that relates to the client’s social and medical health.
Indigenous Harm Reduction Outreach and Counselling Program
Our Indigenous based Harm Reduction Outreach Program and Indigenous Addiction Counselling recognizes that healing, learning, and growth is a process, and community members need access to clean harm reduction supplies, naloxone, and support to reduce rates of blood borne infections and overdose. Our Team utilizes a strengths-based approach that recognizes the courage, honesty, and resiliency involved within an individual’s personal journey of healing. For the purpose of impacting success and reducing cultural barriers, and the stigma that impacts identity and wellness; Indigenous core values, cultural competencies and resources are utilized.Services provided: Indigenous Cultural Programs, Harm Reduction Supplies, Outreach, Counselling, AdvocacyAddress: A101-10095 Whalley Boulevard
